Student Service

JCVCA’s mission is to Educate and Cultivate Servants for Christ. We believe that coupling service with our Bible curriculum is foundational for our students to grow into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

It is with this in mind that CVCA has a service expectation of 16 hours per school year. Our students (grades 6-12) serve in their local community, the nation, and around the world. They are encouraged to find appropriate opportunities within their churches, here at CVCA, and with outside organizations (both para-church and secular) that meet both the physical and spiritual needs of a lost and dying world.

Where do students serve?

Here are some of the great ways CVCA students are making an impact in their communities:

  • National Day of Prayer Volunteer
  • Sunday School/Nursery Helper
  • Hospital Volunteer
  • Cuyahoga Valley National Park Trail Manager
  • Urban Vision Kids Club Helper
  • Public School Speaker to Promote Teen Success
  • El Salvador Orphanage Helper
