Your Journey Starts Here
Founded in 1968 by 19 founding families, Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (CVCA) began as a bold step to provide Christ-centered education in Northeast Ohio. Classes opened in 1969 in an abandoned school building, while the permanent 30-acre campus on Wyoga Lake Road was being prepared. Since its first eight graduates in 1970, CVCA’s story has been a true “Miracle of Grace” and a testament to God’s unwavering faithfulness.
Over the past five decades, the school has experienced remarkable provision through seasons of challenge and has grown into a well-respected college-preparatory institution serving students in grades 6 to 12. Throughout this growth, its mission has remained constant: to cultivate servants of Christ to act as agents of transformation in the world. Each chapter of CVCA’s history reflects that same faithfulness, and while facilities and programs have expanded, the spiritual foundation has remained unchanged.
Today, CVCA is a thriving community of families, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends, united in gratitude for God’s blessings and committed to supporting the school’s continued growth and impact for generations to come.
