Voices From Our Community

Don’t just take our word for it. Hear how our small school system shapes students’ hearts, minds, and faith.

“I am thankful to be at CVCA because I am surrounded by people who not only aid me academically, but guide me in my walk in Christ. I feel safe in this environment, and am thankful that I get to go to a place that encourages and loves me.”

“As the youngest of a large family, I basically grew up at CVCA. I went to basketball and soccer games - cheering with the big girls. When I finished my teaching degree, I immediately thought of the Academy. Teaching here is like coming home.”

What about lunch?

Lunch is on us! We'll give you a cafeteria voucher, but you're also welcome to bring your own food. If you have any food allergies, just let us know on your registration form so Chef Ben can take care of you.

Where should we go when we arrive?

Head to the circular driveway in front of the building and park in any open space. Walk through the main entrance (between the flag poles) to the Welcome Center, and we'll meet you there!

What should I wear?

Dress comfortably but modestly. Most students here wear khaki or black pants with a polo, quarter-zip, or hoodie (and T-shirts on Fridays). Please avoid leggings, yoga pants, tights, sweatpants, or shorts.

What time should we arrive?

Aim to arrive between 7:30 and 7:45 a.m. for your Student Shadow Visit. Traffic can be heavy in the morning, so be sure to give yourself a little extra travel time!
